Welcome to my personal blog. Now, in this blog i will sharing my experience during Marine tour in Dutungan island. But, first of all let me introduce myself, i'm Andi Rafhida i'm a student of Tour and Travel bussiness study programme in Makassar Tourism Polytechnic.

Dutungan island is one of island in south Sulawesi especially in Barru Regency which is you can visit beside snorkeling also diving you can do there. Dutungang island is known as the island which has the beautiful view and has beauty sea with there are many corals  you can see when you are diving.


Marine tour was held on 10 oct and 11 oct.  The first day, we are gathering in front of orange building for check attendant, distribution of id cards, luggage tag and audio system at 06.00am. After that we get on the bus and go to the Dutungan island. During the trip, each student conducts as a tour guide according to the material that has been given.

Going to dutungan island we started from Makassar City - Maros Regency - Pangkep Regency - Barru Begency. From Makassar to Barru it takes about 3 hours. After 3 hours, we are arrived in Tanjung Indah Dock. Then we have to crossed the sea by a boat to the Dutungan Island. And it takes about 5 minutes. Then after we arrived, we are changed our clothes and get ready for snorkeling and diving. But before we’re diving, we were given some explanation and procedure for beginner diving by instructor.


And it was my first experience to try diving and seeing how beatiful underwater is. First, i’m doing snorkeling after that diving. After around 6 hours in dutungan we are go to the Pare-pare City. We are arrived at Delima Hotel at 06.00pm and getting ready for a dinner and presentation.

After doing many activities all day, me and my friends back to our room to take a rest.

The second day, we are gathering in lobby hotel for morning exercise at 06.00am and visit the statue of Cinta Sejati Habibie & Ainun. After that we comeback to the hotel and get breakfast. Then prepared our belongings and visit Paputo beach and then back to Makassar.


In Paputo beach we’re doing observation and take the time for coffee break and free programme. After we are done for observation we continued went to Teras Empang Restaurant for having lunch.


And then we are back to Makassar after get lunch. We are arrived in POLTEKPAR Makassar at 05.00pm.
